About me
My name is Tig or Tigg. I am an androgynous agender human (they/them) in my early 40s. I am a self-taught digital artist of 30+ years, an amateur historic researcher, a novice historic-fic writer, a budding plant-parent, and a dabbling diarist & poet.I follow Eastern Standard Time. Daily I'm often surrounded by 3 cats, various house plants, and shelved items which remind me of people for whom I hold great adoration & admiration. This is my comfort space.I produce second-rate artwork which will leave a fleeting minuscule mark on the world. I'm not here to sell myself as an artist. I am keenly aware that my work is worthless and often fruitless, however it brings me joy. Art is used as an outlet to exhibit my love for a certain subject, placing them on a pedestal to call attention to them, not myself.I exist within a bubble, looking for others who share the same level of intense enthusiasm for things that I love. Let's talk & relate.
About My Interests
I have a deep love of living & dead historical trans or androgynous figures in creative fields who exude neurodivergent traits and adorn themselves androgynously.I want to relate to them, learn about their time period through their eyes, and live in their headspace to fully understand who they were and their motivations.
Over the years, these people have painted my 'blank canvas' personality into a colorful mosaic. I embrace their teachings, their inspirations, and favorite things dearly, letting them inspire my own life and way of living.

About My Art
I am primarily a digital artist, using Clip Studio Paint and a Wacom Intuos CTL-6100WL. It can take days, weeks or months to finish a piece.On occasion, I also dabble with traditional art, which is so much faster for me to finish. I enjoy the combination of ballpoint pen & smudging pencil for shading. I also delight in using charcoal, watercolor pencils, a dip pen & ink & brush, and pastels.I began drawing when I was seven years old. Originally, I drew anything that I saw on TV. But with the coming of Animaniacs and The Lion King, I became hooked on drawing animal-people in the late 1990s. Only recently did I begin relearning to draw people again. Due to being self-taught, I have a limited skill set.
